Day 3 - Morticia - Simply Betty Halloween Challenge

Halloween around the house!  That is the 3rd challenge at Simply Betty Stamps 13 days of Halloween Challenge.  I really had to use the ol' bean for this one.  What could I make to decorate the house for the season.  No cards, no treat containers.....then I had a light bulb moment.  My daughter had all these books!  I raided her room while she was at school, and recovered them in Halloween scrapbook paper (I hope she doesn't get mad LOL!), wrapped black and orange netting around them and tied a bow to prevent them from sliding.  Next, I just had to decorate the front of the last book to stand atop the others to be displayed.  I choose Morticia, of course I  had to creep her up a bit with scars/stitches on her face....Now...she was perfect!  The title of my book "whooo's afraid of the dark" was one of Betty's digis cut apart and matted, together with my eyes in the darkness paper, totally rocked it.   It seemed like the perfect title to my book with Morticia as the main character.  Now what is a book without an author!  Well, my hats off to you Betty, you are an amazing artist, and now AN AUTHOR!  This book will be flying off the shelves for sure! I'm sure you will be scheduling many signing engagements!  Can I have your AUTOGRAPH!  LOL!  This was the coolest challenge yet, and it really is making me think out of the box I live in!  This is my favorite creation as of yet.  What will Betty have in store for Day 4?  I'll be entering the following challenges:

Betty, of course, I'd love a signed copy of your book! LOL! I think I'd have to wrestle my daughter for her books though!
