So Pretty - The Paper Shelter

The Corrosive Challenge of "Pretty Pastels" is sponsored by one of my favorites, The Paper Shelter.  I love how you get paper layouts, precolored images, as well as ones for you to color!
I chose to work with So Pretty, remember wearing your shirts this way?  Now that I'm older, not a chance!  I crafted this cute little gift purse.  It will be perfect to put nail polish, jewelry, you know, girly stuff for a sweet gift.  Well, I'm on the fence if this is pastel enough. I've been working with a lot of pink lately, and just wanted to make something softer but not the traditional pastels.  Hope I've inspired you to come join in the fun.  The Paper Shelter is offering a $20 gift certificate to the winner of the challenge.  Their digis are reasonably priced, and you could sure make a haul with $20 worth!  Won't you come and play with us?  I'll be entering the following challenges: - Polka dots - Anything Goes - Cute

France - Sassy Studio Designs

It's Dare to Be Sassy Thursday again, and our challenge this week is "Be Creative, make your own embellishments".  Well, I was thinking out of the box again.  I love love love to bake, so I thought how about cupcakes!  So I baked the cupcakes, decorated them...after eating about a pound of buttercream frosting....YUM, then it was on to my embellishments.  I took skewers, wrapped them in ribbon, and affixed my Sassy France to it.  I cut an Eiffel Tower from my Paris cartridge on the cricut, and wala!  A very festive treat!  Come join in the fun this week.  Remember if your entry is with a sassy digi, you have more chances to win.  If you don't have time to play along, and I've inspired you with France Sassy, you can purchase her here at the store!  I'll be entering the following challenges: - Anything but a Card
