Flying Monkey - Sassy Studio Designs

If you've arrived here from Chris's Blog, you're right on track.  Today marks the second day of  the Off to see the Wizard Release.  Lindsay rocked the release as usual.  Hope you are enjoying the Oz inspired digis as much as we are.  I was assigned Flying Monkey with a bingo challenge.

The row I completed was Flying Monkey, Bling, and a ruby slippers/red.  Although I still haven't seen the movie a lot of the images I ran across were with the flying monkey clutching a suitcase.  So, inspiration was born and I fired up my cricut to give it a go.  I had a lot of fun putting the sayings on this.  I wanted it to look like that old suitcase that has stickers of the places it's been.  As for the flying monkey, you might say I monkied around quite a bit with her.  No beautiful flawless skin here, I jazzed her up with my sharpie.  First I colored her in with my skin tones, then doodled all over her.  Very different huh?  Kinda monkeyish right!  Thanks so much for visiting, and if you're feeling inspired, leave some love, you could win some sassys just by commenting!  Your next stop on the yellow brick road is my sassy sister Ruza, and I'm sure you're all familiar with her fabulous work!  Here is a list of the hop incase you get lost!

I'll be entering the following challenges:
http://pennyschallenges.blogspot.co.uk/ - Anything Goes
http://stampinfortheweekend.blogspot.com/ - Die cut or Punches
http://thesquirrelandthefox.blogspot.com/ - Furry Friends

sorry i didnt make it over the weekend because of my schedule, but wanted to stop in and say wow what a card! I love that you took the time to cut and layer all those tiny parts for the "bumper sticker" quotes on the bag and that you hand did leopard print on the character image that must have taken some time! but great card!
