Steampunk - Sassy Studio Designs

Today Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring a challange over at http://pennyschallenges.blogspot.com/ where their challenge is More Than One Fold.  I have to admit this is the first time I've ever attempted to create a steampunk card.  I was always attracted to its style, but never tackled it before.  Well today was the day I was going STEAMPUNK!  I purchased gears, stickers of old time stuff, cut and pasted parts and thingys ..... and you know what.... IT WAS SUPER FUN and crazy to work with all the elements I don't ever use.  Yes, I stepped out of my box in a big way and I really like the outcome.  Come join me in the challenge, for our chance to win some Sassys of your own....I'll be at the following challenges:

Tourist - Saturated Canary

Told you I had some free time to play!  This image is called Tourist from Saturated Canary.  I decided to jazz up her hair with stickles and two tone it!  The buttons on her skirt were so cool.  I put a drop of crystal effects on each button, let it dry, then used a white gel pen to cris cross it.  It really adds a cool effect.  I also got some new diecuts from My Favorite Stamps, and the ticket border is so fun to use, I think it will be very versatile.  Check out her eyes, a dot of white gel pen on her lashes really pops it too!  I'll be entering the following challenges:
