Ms. Nancy Fairy - Paper Makup Stamps

 

Whoop Whoop, time for another challenge at Paper Makeup Stamps!

 

Now, who wouldn't need a just because card!  My creation features Ms. Nancy.  I had a lot of fun with this card, as my daughter is going to college to become a teacher.  She has a great group of friends, and I like to send gifts every now and then just to let them know someone is thinking about them.  Ms. Nancy Fairy found here in the shop.  It was so much fun creating a chalkboard "front of the class" scene.  Check out my pencils made out of toothpicks, totally cute too!  So, if you're looking for something to do, grab some me time and created a Just Because card to send to someone you've been thinking of!  We'd love for you to play along just because IT'S FUN!  I'll be entering the following challenges:

Dare to Be Sassy Thursday #239 - It's All the Same!  We are looking for monochromatic this week!  This sassy is very dear and close to my heart.  A few years ago, Lindsay had a "design your own Sassy contest".  Two of my designs were chosen and Lindsay sassified them.  Ballroom Babe, and Skater Sassy!  I love this one to pieces and currently I'm on an orange kick from summer dresses to my crafting! Don't you just love them?  They are so stinkin cute cute cute! I got to thinking about what to create with Genie 5 for this release.  My thoughts floated towards Christmas.....I know, I know, I'm not wishing away summer and fall by all means, but I need to be ready for the holidays!  All this thought lead me to the phrase "have a magical Christmas", and wala, a scrapbook page was born that will be filled with my family photos!  Genies aren't just for birthdays anymore!  Really, think about it, birthdays, Christmas, wishing you well, new home, after all genies live in their lamps right!  Well, you get the idea. Christmas Tree - Sassy Studio Designs

 

It's Dare to Be Sassy Thursday Again.  This week our Challenge is #238 Sketch it up!  That's right, we are taking all of the guess work out of your crafting session.  I don't know about you, but is certainly is refreshing to just color and follow a sketch!  I mean, hey, you have to follow the format, no looking back at your card saying "I should have done this.....I should have done that..."  It is what it is.  I created with Christmas Tree this week.  First of all, aren't you just jealous I have another Christmas card done? LOL!  I love this tree and all it's sparkles. I thought the back papers would be awesome as Christmas presents and learned how to make paper bows with my envelope maker!  Easy Peasy!  However, I have a hard time coloring this tree in the traditional colors.  LOVE THE PINK!  I think an icy blue would be yummy too...it just screams sparkles to me!  Come join us this week won't you?  Come on, take some "me" time and color......you know you want to!  As always, if you use a sassy image, it doubles your chances in the draw, however, we do accept all entries!  Now GIT!  Go craft something and be happy, but make sure to follow this sketch!

Genie 2 - Scrapper's Delights

 

 

 

 

I had the pleasure of being chosen to join the Scrapper's Delights New Release Team, and this is my very first creation as part of their design team.  Whoop Whoop!  The new release consists of Genies!  I was a huge fan of I Dream of Jeanie when I was younger, and fell in love with this release.  My assignment was Genie 2 and love how she turned out! I was a bit intimidated with the genie lamp, but as I started coloring it, it went along so easily!  I definitely see a shopping trip in my future to pick up the other adorable genies.  Yes, I'm one of those people that has to have the whole set!  LOL!  The new images can be found here at Scrapper's Delights.
