Shawna with Latte - MazyArt

Mazy Art,- -  have you had a chance to see these digis?  They are super cool.  I just had to have Shawna with Latte.  So warm and cozy, I love everything about her from her hip boots, belt, and leg warmers. She certainly has an eye for fashion.  I thought she would be perfect for a Thanksgiving card.  I even made my own zipper flowers!  I've been working on finishing off the insides of my cards as well, but forgot to take a pic of it!  LOL!  It's a great way to use up those scraps, and you know scraps bother me!  I'll be entering the following challenges:

More Treat Containers - Dilly Beans

Dilly Monster, Millie Monster, and Framed Bat Ghoul - Dillybeans

Framed Bat Ghoul - Dilly Beans

I am in total Halloween mode.  I spent my evening cranking out some little gifties for my Halloween friends.  This cool creepy kat is from Dilly Beans - they have the most awesome creepy - cute designs that just...well, make me smile.  Isn't he the dashing in his sparklie shirt? Of course, even boys can have bling.  The box is filled with rolos, YUMMY!  Somehow I ran out of rolos while creating this (Note to self, stay out of the candy).  I mean really, when there is a bag of carmel oozing goodness in front of you, could you do any better?  I think not - it is the season!  The box/card design came from Splitcoast Stampers Gallery, so cute and can be used for so many things.  I'll be haunting the following challenges, come join me:

Sparkle Nurse - Saturated Canary

Fancy - Saturated Canary

I was playing with Fancy from Saturated Canary again.  I needed a wedding card and I thought she was perfect.  The background was cut from my cricut cartridge, paper lace.  That cartridge makes the coolest backgrounds.  I'm kind of  hooked on yellow at the moment.  Fancy just kind of makes me smile.  I'll be entering the following challenges:

Sassy Ghost - Sassy Studio Designs

This week's Dare to Be Sassy Thursday Challenge sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs is Halloween Spectacular.  I tried my hand at two things, first of all, the little box thingy to hold my rolo candies, and these 3d pumpkins.  So easy to make with a circle punch sticking one side to another.  These were really run to make, imagine them in a 12 inch size on the cricket.....hmmmm..may have to try that. I glossed up her eyes to make them vacant, I just love this effect.  Starla, my fellow DT member colored the Grimm Reaper's eyes red then glossed them.  Let's just say they were super creepy that way too.  That is on my list of things to do, it was awesomely scary.  I'll be hanging out at the following challenges...

Fancy - Saturated Canary

I had a little time on my hands and thought I'd play with a Saturated Canary Design.  This is Fancy!  I ended up working in yellows trying to use up some of the scraps overtaking my crafting space.  I hate my scrap basket!  It bugs me and I feel overwhelmed by it (I know it's silly), but sometimes I have to take it to my Mom and give it to her (seriously I do) because it bugs me so much.  Anyhow, I was looking at it last night and took out some yellow and thought, you can do this, just use the scrap!  LOL, and this what I came up with.  I just love the thrown together look of this little lady and I think I'm getting better shading hair!  Whoot Whoot!  I'm going to try to find some challenges that are not Halloween related!  This time of year it may be hard.  Come join me!

Halloween Bingo Challenge!

 

If you made it here from Jacki's Blog, you're right on tract. Sassy Studio Designs is hosting a challenge this release "bingo".  Lindsay has some seriously awesome digis for you.  I got to play with the Grim Reaper, I know she is creepy, but I had to girly her up with a little bling anyhow.  Even if you're evil, you still need to be girly!  LOL!  In keeping with the Bingo Card Challenge, I chose Spider web, tombstone, free space, ghost, and blood.  I guess the only place I could put blood in here was on the blade.  I thought it would be fun to make a tombstone treat container to fill with candycorn and dry roasted peanuts.  Seriously, have you ever mixed them together?  If you like salted nut rolls, you have to make this mix.  It is so YUMMY!!!!!!  I hope you are relaxing and enjoying the hop today - don't forget to leave comments, as random comments could win you newly released sassys! The design team has split up over the 13th and 14th for the hop for your viewing pleasure.  Be sure to stop by for inspiration.  Your next stop is Jodi, check out her Halloween Sassyness!  Here is the hop order if you need it!

Renaisannce Sassy - Dare to Be Sassy Thursday

This week's challenge at Sassy Studio Designs is a sketch.  I was running low on thank you cards, so I thought I would use this challenge to get caught up.  Using sketches is a quick way to get a layout and crank a card out.  Let's face it, sometimes we just "over think" a card.  I know I do.  It is nice to have someone do the thinking for me sometimes, and Kathy is great at that!  Kathy, thank's for the layout!

Dare to be Sassy Thursday's Challenge is Pink Pink Pink!  This Showgirl from Sassy Studio Designs was asking for an all out pink costume. Lindsay makes the coolest, sassiest digis, it seems I've become a collector!  LOL! Of course, I had to bling her up with stickles too.  I gotta tell you, while I was working on this, I didn't feel it at all, but once I started just piling on the flowers, it really spoke to me.  Now it is complete!  I really like it!  The little movie reel on the front, the camera and take 1, and the ticket were from a new My Favorite Things set I purchased.  I can be seen at the following challenges:
