Tourist - Saturated Canary

Told you I had some free time to play!  This image is called Tourist from Saturated Canary.  I decided to jazz up her hair with stickles and two tone it!  The buttons on her skirt were so cool.  I put a drop of crystal effects on each button, let it dry, then used a white gel pen to cris cross it.  It really adds a cool effect.  I also got some new diecuts from My Favorite Stamps, and the ticket border is so fun to use, I think it will be very versatile.  Check out her eyes, a dot of white gel pen on her lashes really pops it too!  I'll be entering the following challenges:

Back to School Desk - The Stamping Boutique

This weeks theme for the challenge at The Stamping Boutique is "back to school".  With it being quiet with the kiddos gone, its a perfect time to create a little something.  I chose Back to School Desk.  I just love this retro digi.  I dug out my magic paper to emboss and I sanded it with a nail file to show the core color.  Come join in the challenge.  I'll be seen at the following challenges:

Katniss on Fire - Sassy Studio Designs

Today, Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring Party Time Tuesday, where their theme is Red, Yellow, Gold.  I thought Katniss on Fire was the perfect image to play with this time.  I sort of tye dyed her dress and if you look close, I used crystal effects on whole thing!  It looks really cool in person, so slickery - is slickery a word?  Anyhow, it looks really cool.   I fired up my cricut for the bow and arrow, but hey, what's a girl with out bling, so of course, I had to bling up her arrows with stickles as well.  I thought I was pretty clever making an arrow target with 12 in the middle representing the District.  Hope you have a day filled with crafting, and if you do, I'm so jealous!  I'll be entering the following challenges:

Hippie Chic

Today over at Sassy Studio Designs, we are sponsoring Tuesday Alchemy where their challenge is Peace, Love and Happiness.  I chose to represent these 3 elements as follows:  Peace Sign Easel Card is obviously for PEACE, LOVE is the 3 hearts holding the easel card open, and HAPPINESS is my sentiment.  I had some really cool hologram paper a friend had given me that I was saving for the perfect card, and it works perfectly with this digi.  Hippie Chic is so much fun to color, and it changes so much by the colors you choose.  Look for me at the following challenges:

Sassy Police Officer - Sassy Studio Designs

YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN FABULOUS!  Sassy  Studio Designs is sponsoring a challenge at: http://dutchdare-cardchallenges.blogspot.com where their challenge is to use this sketch:
I  made an easel card.  I like to switch it up a bit.  I tend to get tired of making the same shaped card.  I just love how this turned out, but is was to hard to get a good picture with the metalic paper, I could actually see myself in the card!  Come join the challenge for a chance to win some sassys of your own.  It is a super simple sketch, and it takes the guesswork out of creating when you have an idea to start with.  I'll be entering the following challeges:

AJ Racecar Driver - The Stamping Boutique

The Stamping Boutique's challenge this week is celebrating Labor Day, the working person.  I chose to use AJ the racecar driver.  Such a great digi for those boy cards!  I have 2 girls, so I tend to do all girlie, blingy stuff, and never have cards for boys when I need them.  So I decided to get a few boy cards going.  I was all done, and my youngest said "Mommy, you need to bling it up".  I tried to make a card without bling being it was for a boy, but I guess even boys could use a little sparkle on their hot rod!  I'll be entering the following challenges:
