Beach Bum - Fabulous Friday Freebie - Sassy Studio Designs

It's time again for Sassy Studio Designs Fabulous Friday Freebie!  This Sassy is called Beach Bum, but, I cut her out of the towel she was laying on.  I thought without the towel she looked like she could be modeling, dancing, or partying at the beach, and I just love the look.  Check out the challenge which is to follow an inspirational photo - for some reason Mr. Blogger won't let me put the picture here!

Check out Sassy Studio Designs on Paper Craft Planet to get this week's freebie.  Here is the Link:  http://www.papercraftplanet.com/group/sassystudiodesigns. Who knows, you could win more sassy digis!  I'll be entering the following challenges:

The Stamping Boutique is sponsoring a challenge over at our Crafting Community: The Crafter's Cafe, they are hosting a Kid's Challenge.  If you email Stacie she will give you this Star, but you have to use it in the red white and blue challenge like the Design Team did!  Who doesn't like a freebie.  The challenge is paper piecing, which is so hard for me, I actually avoid paper piecing challenges, but this star was soooo easy. Expand your child's horizons and teach them to paper piece.  There is a tutorial on the above link to get them started.  Let's see what your child comes up with and link it to The Crafter's Cafe for a chance to win! The Challenge at The Stamping Boutique this week is paper piecing as well, I can't wait to see what you create.  I'll be celebrating at the following challenges:

July 21st Sassy Studio Design Blog Hop - It's a Small World

Finally, Release Day, I bet you couldn't wait to get your hands on these new digis!  I got to play with USA Honey, and really enjoyed blinging her out right down to the belly button star and sand in her bucket.  I've been playing around with sparklie eyelashes, and they are sooo cute.  I decided I wanted her swimsuit wet so I used crystal lacquer.   Hey, I also picked up a new tip from the design team for blush on the cheeks.  I always fought with my copics, well forget that, all you have to do is use chalk.  Way to easy and way to cool.  If you mess up, just wipe it off. GENIOUS!  Make sure as you hop along to leave some love, two random commenters each have a chance to win one of the new images being released.
This blog hop also comes with a challenge. The theme is "It's a Small World After All". You have a week to create a card showcasing something about your favorite country using a Sassy digi.  The winner will get ALL 6 July 21st released images.  How cool is that!  Chek out the SSD Blog for the details to enter.  Below is the hop list to help you out along the way!

Jade - The Stamping Boutique

The Inside:

The Stamping Boutique is sponsoring a challenge this week called "texting terminology"  This was another one that had me using the old bean to think up something with those short little words.  For the record "I Hate" texting.  I have a thing about shortening words, and typing on such a tiny little screen.  I guess I'm "old school", picking up the telephone goes much faster for me!  LOL!  However, I am picking up on the lingo!  Stop over at The Stamping Boutique and check out the other great creations the design team came up with.  TTYL!  I'll be entering the following challenges:

Canada Honey - Sassy Studio Designs

There is a lot going on this week at Sassy Studio Designs with the July release previews, a blog hop on the 21st, and chatting it up that evening.  Lindsay has been creating FABULOUS designs, as always!  So check in daily to sneak a peek at each new design to be released on the 21st. The images won't be available in the store until then.  Here is the link to check it out Sassy Studio Designs.  I got to play with Canada Honey.  I have to admit I had to do a little research with this one to color the uniform appropriately.  I love how she turned out! I didn't want to bling her out tooo much being she is a police officer, but I did sparkle up her lashes and gave her an earring. Thanks for stopping by.

Fabulous Friday Freebie - Sassy Studio Designs on Papercraft Planet

Friday the 13th, and it time for another Fabulous Friday Freebie from Sassy Studio Designs over at http://www.papercraftplanet.com/group/sassystudiodesigns.  Reading Racheal is only available for 24 hours, so be sure to stop by.  This the second week of a bookmark challenge, and I chose to fashion one that slips over the corner of the page between 2 layers of paper.  I decided a ribbon fringe would be fun to have decorate the side of my book.  Of course, I never never never make anything without bling - somehow in my little head, it just isn't done until it sparkles!  Hope you have a crafting weekend planned.  I'll be entering the following challenges:

Multi-tasking Momma - Saturated Canary

Well, I'm in need of a baby boy card for a shower I'm attending Tuesday.  I couldn't resist using Multi-tasking Momma from Saturated Canary.  Krista has soooooo many cute digis, they are really fun to work with.  Remember those days?  Or if you are "in those days" now, just remember, we all made it through!  I couldn't resist making an easel card and putting safety pins on the front as well.  I think my nephew's wife will love it as well.  I'll be entering the following challenges:

Magazine Marge - Sassy Studio Designs Friday Freebie

Can you believe it is Friday Freebie Time at Paper Craft Planet?  The design team made some awesome book marks with Magazine Marge who is out of the sassy vault for a 24 hour appearance.  Check out the link to get her free http://www.papercraftplanet.com/group/sassystudiodesigns.  All the details of the challenge are posted as well.  My daughter is off to 3 camps this summer, so I thought it would be fun to make a camp journal.  At every camp, she has journal her experience, had friends autograph, doodled, and well, just made it her own.  She was so excited to take this with her and what a great keepsake to document a fabulous summer of new friends and experiences.  We are going to put ribbon tabs at the beginning of each camp section.  She plans to take this with her every year so in the end, it will be one book containing all her years at camp!  I'm still patting myself on the back for this one!  LOL!  Great idea huh?  I put a pony tail binder between the two layers of the base and attached the ribbon to that,  It stretches for miles!  Well not really miles, but it is the coolest bookmark.  I love how it wraps around the book.  Thanks for stopping by and check out the link for more inspiration from the DT!  I'm entering the following challenges:

Lilacs - If life gets too hard to stand, Kneel

Hey, had a minute to actually use a Rubber Stamp, remember what those are?  I'm so into using digital images all the time, I forget about stamping.  I saw this stamp and just absolutely had to have it!  You know "the one you pay full price for"?  Yep, it doesn't happen often that I pay full price, but this was one of them.  It is so beautiful, and with a touch of glitter on the flowers, it is really perfect for any occasion.  I'll be delivering my bouquet to the following challenges:
