Victorian Sassy - Sassy Studio Designs

Dare to be Sassy Thursday's Challenge is a holiday challenge.  You have to use some silver or gold on your holiday card.  Getting the jump on Christmas Cards will be soooo helpful when December rolls around.  I decided to make a card that folded up into a square.  It really turned out cute and festive.  I used Victorian Sassy on the front, and ballroom Sassy on the inside. Come join the fun, maybe win a few sassys for yourself.   I'm entering the following challenges:

Dilly Beans - Abbie Framed(2)

It's been a while since I made something for fun.  Being on 2 design teams keeps me hopping!  I've been an admirer of Dilly Beans for a while now, just a different look.  I love love love these big eye girls!  Soooo cute!  I did buy a little creepy cute, art journal type digis that are out of what I usually purchase, but hey, I'm stepping out of my box.  A fellow DT member for TSB, Miranda, works a lot in Neocrayons that are water soluable, and she makes the most fabby backgrounds.  I used the neocrayons on this background in pink and orange.  Sooo totally awesome.  I'm entering the following challenges:

Glenda - Sassy Studio Designs

Dare to be Sassy Thursday - Hats off to You!  All that is required is that you use an image with a hat, crown, bandana, something on it's head.  I chose to use Glenda!  Here are the details!  I printed her out once full page, adhered the printed digi to blank cardstock, leaving the bottom adhesive free so I could tuck the tulle in there, then cut her out.  This made things a bit more sturdy for my stand alone Glenda.  I cut her off just below the belly button.  Then I gathered tulle and adhered it between the layers.  I glammed her up and sprayed adhesive on her new tulle skirt and sprinkled glitter on it to jazz it up a bit.  Ha, I even glittered her eyelashes!  She will look so cute on a gift bag, mirror, locker, anywhere you can stick her!  She is so stinkin cute!  Just another way to use Lindsey's fabby designs!  I'm entering the following challenges:

SASSY STUDIO DESIGNS - MAY RELEASE AND BLOG HOP

I'd like to introduce you to Effie Trinket #2  - Isn't she Fabby! I thought it would be fun to try to create a mockingjay pin with my cricut without overpowering Effie, and I just love the outcome.  My sassy sister, Kate, has gotten me hooked on Tulle.  I like to tuck it here and there for a little girliness.  Can you believe how the time has flown by?  Already another  SASSY STUDIO DESIGNS RELEASE and HOP.  Lindsay has WOWED us again with so many SPECTACULAR designs.  The theme for this release is flowers. I needed to include flowers on my project as well and tell you what my fav flower is.  Actually I have 3 - and you probably guessed I'm a floral perfume scent person, not the musty, earthy scent like a woodland fairy (my daughter is a woodland fairy scent) LOL!
1.  Lilacs, the yard smells so beautiful when they are in bloom - Jessica McClintock perfume smells so lilac yummy;

2.  Peonys, I just love them as well, except for those pesky little ants that want to come in with my bouquet, and they don't last very long - I do have a peony scent, it's called Peonys; and

3.  Carnations - they last forever and ever and ever and ever.  I've had tooo many roses over the years never even open and bow their little heads.  Anyhow, carnations come in all colors, last a long time, and that makes me - - well, happy!

Back to the details of the challenge:  Grand prize - 3 images, but you have to comment on the SSD Blog to be eligible, and 1 image each for 2 other people for commenting on the Design team's blogs along the way.  You have until Wednesday night to enter since it is such a long hop.

Here is the hop order.  I've listed them all if you get lost.  If you made it here from Linsey's blog (she is our guest designer this month, and her stuff totally rocks), grab something to eat, you must be exhausted!  LOL!  Thanks for coming by, and lastly, you need to hop on over to Kate's blog to drool over her project and leave her some love.  She is so stinkin talented and an enabler to boot, she uses the coolest stuff, that I then go out and buy!   I should just give her my money and let her go shopping for me then just send the box to me!  Hope you had an enjoyable day!

Ooh La La - Sexy Mare Antoinette - Sassy Studio Designs

Sexy Marie is just tooo darn fun to create.  My last example of Sexy Marie Antoinette, well let's say she was more traditional, powdered wig, more clothes.  I decided to make her blonde this time, and well, alter her dress, instead of sleeves or a mid section of her dress, I chose to leave it skin tone - hence, "OOH LA LA" was born.  Boy is she hot!  That's one thing I really love about Lindsey's designs is that you can change them to suite your needs by how you color them in. You can take it up a notch, or down a notch.  Check out my last Marie post, then this one and you can see what I mean.  I went all out with the bling on this one as well, even sparkled her lashes. Don't forget to join us for the blog hop tomorrow for the new release and chances of winning some of these FABULOUS new designs, tons of inspiration, and the DT chat Saturday night.  I'm entering the following challenges:

Triple Play - Sassy Studio Designs Challenge

DTBS Thursday's Challenge at Sassy Studio Designs is Triple Play, use 3 of Something.  I thought it would be fun to use 3 Sassy Images - Elizabeth, Angelica, and Captin Jack, together with pirate accessories.  I also used a bit of my cricut for the ship and compass.  This came together so well for me, but these triple fold cards are a whole lotta card to decorate.  I'll be sailing off to the following challenges:

Smoochie with Easel - The Stamping Boutique

The Stamping Boutique's challenge this week is doodling.  Now let me tell you, this was soooo hard for me, I'm not a free spirit, grab a pencil, doodle whatever person.  I'm more of a let's say "everything in it's place or it bugs me, have to stitch on everthing or it just isn't done, and fill up every spot available sort of person".   So, in my attempt, I did doodle smoochie's eye, polkadotted her dress, and of course stitched 2 layers.  So for me, that's doodling.  You should check out the blog http://thestampingboutiquechallengeblog.blogspot.com   and see what amaizing doodlers are on the design team.  I'm embarassed to show mine compared to theirs, so hands down, they win the doodling tiara!  LOL!  I'll be entering the following challenges:

Cowgirl Debbie - Sassy Studio Designs

Dare to be Sassy Thursday challenge this week is a sketch:

My take on it was Cowgirl Debbie "YEEEHAW".  I thought a sheriff's badge would be cute and knotted twine for a border.  Love the barrel she is perched on as well.  You have a chance to win some sassys of your own, now who doesn't like that!  Remember, if you use a SSD image for the challenge, you have 2 chances to win.  I'll be riding off to the following challenges:

Smoochie Artist - The Stamping Boutique

The Stamping Boutique is sponsoring http://pennyschallenges.blogspot.co.uk this week, and their theme is "I Love you Mom".  Well needless to say, I made a page for my own 2012 Mother's Day pic with my kiddos.  I wanted it bright and cheery.  I thought I was pretty clever hand drawing a smoochie eye to make the eye heart u!  I don't know what those little puzzles are called, but I loved them when I was little!  So I made my own.  Also, check out the ribbon rosette.  I had a bunch in my cart the other day to buy, and said to myself "huh, you know you could really do this yourself ".  So that's what I did, I took a 3 inch piece of ribbon, folded it in half, ran a running stitch along the bottom, and gathered it tight, then added a pearl.  You can really crank a lot of these out on a road trip!  So, I'm definately going to make more of these!  I'm entering the following challenges:

Princess Jennifer Latte - Vanity - The Stamping Boutique

The Stamping Boutique is sponsoring www.kaboodledoodles.blogspot.com this week, and their theme is Honoring Mom.  I started out making a simple joy fold card, and it got away from me!  I love this!  The front flap tucks under the flowers to secure it shut, then the next fold pops out to show the 2nd message. I just couldn't stop matting this one to make it bigger, then the flowers, bling, netting, I couldn't help myself!  I'm entering the following challenges:

Skater Girl - Sassy Studio Designs

Sassy Studio Designs Thursday Challenge is "You've Been Framed".  Frame something!  The rules have changed, which is exciting, if you use a SSD image, you have 2 chances to win! So come on - let's craft!  This image is very special to me.  A while back Lindsay had a Design Your Own Sassy Challenge, well, I created 3, Jeanie, Skater Girl, and Ballroom Babe.  Lindsay loved them all.  I roughed up the sketches and submitted them to the challenge.  Lindsay put the whole sassy style to them, and they are sooooo awesome.  I have to smile when I'm in blogland and see people using them.  I kind of giggle to myself saying "oh yeah, I was part of that (of course, Lindsay did her magic to make them their sassy awesomness - she is so talented).  Sooo, I thought it would be fun to send a message of being who you want to be and not follow others.  I'm entering the following challenges:

Let Them Eat Cake - Stamping Boutique

The Stamping Boutique Challenge this week is Monochromatic - in Blue!  You can use either craft or white, but try to stick with mostly shades of blue.  This week I chose to use Let them eat cake!  She is so sassy/snooty - gotta love her.  I tried a z fold card this time, with a sleeve that keeps it shut.  I gotta say it is really a cool fold, being I'm into different card shapes lately!  Hope to see you at TSB Challenge this week!  You may bump into me at the following challenges:
